MMW CA Seminar is an experiential program embedded within the Making of the Modern World program. The program counts for both MMW15 or MMW122 (for transfer students), combining the specially designed, low-enrollment the five-week remote MMW course in Summer Session I 2026, with an onsite experience in Baja California, Mexico.   Weeks 1, 2, and 5 are remtoe, and the two-week on-site program in weeks 3 and 4, departs UCSD on Sunday, July 12 and travels by van to Bahia de Los Angeles along the Gulf of California, on the eastern side of the Baja peninsula, to experience the unique environment, ecology, and community of Baja. The program also includes an excursion to Parque Nacional Sierra de San Pedro Mártir.   The program returns to UCSD on Friday, July 24.    Application available here.
